yees...YEESSS! xD seeing the refinement is always euphoric for me haha, the hair and that nice little stitching touch on the tabard too is great :smile_cat:

Super clean dude, love it!

The subtlety of all the forms in the body and the cleanness of this model is some next level shit! Seriously impressive.

Loving how this is turning out so far!

I like the hair and fur pieces. Good stuff.

this is the type of model that would look really well 3d printed :). great work so far!

@dandoombuggy thank you! chunky is good
@aveon I hate the refinement stage, but has to be done
@ FemCharles aaa thank you
@jeebs I would definitely like to 3d print her at a later stage!
Thanks for all the encouragement you guys.

Been refining bits and pieces, nothing too exciting. Started to work on her pauldron, trying to work in a food theme to everything so he's a hungry boy.

@blair !!! Really?..........sorry xD, but it does look good haha

I like the design for the pauldron. I think it was really clever to use its tongue to add some personality to it. We usually see the serious design every time. This one, even when the change is subtle is a little bit unique.

This is looking really awesome Blair. Love what you're doing with the pauldrons. Tasty!

this is already incredible, Blair. Love it to bits!

@aveon  My favorite bit is refining the blockout into the big shapes I want, but when that's done adding detail I find a bit tedious. Anyone else feel this way?
@andrescastaneda Yeah I definitely think it could be a bit more whimsical still, might try enlarging the teeth and making it a bit goofier.
@funkybunnies  really glad you like it~!
Thanks guys, will get more time to work on her tonight.

@blair Looking great love the sculpting done so far. I think really i find UVs the most tedious when i'm working on stuff. Since they can also affect the detailing stage depending on which program you use.

I thought I was the only one who starts to feel the detail stage gets tedious! Blocking out is so fun and loose, then when it gets down to adding details I always get worried about messing up the base geometry or adding more geometry than I need because I have the tendency to want to keep things clean for the best final result.

She is looking great so far! I really love the character of her shoulder pad. I'm noticing something strange about the fabric covering her chest. You can see the outline of her breasts like the fabric is more tightly molded to them, but then you have larger folds that make the fabric feel like it should be more loose. So it's confusing as to what kind of fabric it is due to the conflicting tension folds. Here is a paint over to show more clearly what I mean:

I hope this helps! Keep it up!

Love this style Blair :3 Have fun with those ornaments  You have some really nice shapes in there!

Thanks so much Alexandra  Your version is definitely correct. I was trying to imitate the Hyung Tae Kim 'boobsock' where the fabric magically sticks to the boobs as if they have built in cups, but I probably didn't execute it correctly. I might try some different versions of this area and see what works. Thanks for taking the time to paint over! <3

Oh looking forward to see that pauldron on her shoulder !

@Ryutephra Yeah I see what you mean, when you don't have to think about it very hard you can zone out with some music.
@crazymoon Thank you very much!
@kiuhopper Me too, trying to keep everything separate for now for easy symmetry etc!

Update for today, here's some more props. Going to make some vegetables too and then start on her companion and environment. So much work to do still D:
