I'm making a Gaucho
Gauchos are kinda like Argentinian cowboys, they originated after the Colonisation (The arrival of Spain to south america). These cowboys are the result of mixing the native cultures and the European civilisation.
Those on the left are the looks of gauchos. They used thick pants known as "Bombachas" because of the tall grass, and those funny hats that look like flat fedoras to cover from the sun. Some gauchos were nomad outlaws, others where farmers, but being half Native half Spanish, they all struggled to fit in society. Their weapons kinda reflect that aspect. They had the Spanish-like knife (known as Facon) and the native bola thing (boleadoras).
That one anime boy on the bottom of the reference page is the representation of the Argentinian flag made for the Olympic games in Japan. I think its interesting to have in mind, since its a general representation of what Argentina looks like, made by a non Argentinian.
What I had in mind was making something like a folklore legend. This man was a person long ago, but he lost his humanity to some sort of ancient unknown power. He is supposed to represent that old culture in the form of a spirit/myth man.
I tried to emphasise the ghostly powers on designs B, D and F.
I think I like D the most, changing his right arm with the one B has and the sideways poncho E and F have.
