Im in the middle of the creature bust sculpt, but i thought id share what i had done from the first part of ZBrush class 2.
Here is the base geometry rendered just within Zbrush itself.
This is some quick gradient maps, with selections made with the lasso tool, and a hand airbrush background very fast in photoshop (5min)
rendered in keyshot with some lights and materials
I am having a ton of fun learning this new skill and of all the applications i can use it to improve my concept design and illustration. This is the first time I have ever made anything in 3D, so my frame of reference is, it is a decent first attempt. The creature bust class is awesome..more to share soon
