Here's a still life I did in pastels. It's a medium I used before, but I figure doing something like this would help me get more familiar with it and maybe eventually do a fully finished pastel piece.
Summary of art for 2019. Not a bad year, but I feel like I could've done better too
Anyway, happy holidays to you all!
Progress slowed down because of the holiday, but I'm back on this
And a few sketches
Warmup drawing for this morning.
I believe I'm done with this one. I'll wait a couple of days beore scanning it to see if I want to add or change anything. But I think it's done
So I didn't wait a couple of days, but I'm calling it done now!
For the first time in over 8 years I went to life drawing classes. I forgot how hard it was. Here are my favorite drawings I did there.
15 minutes pose
20 minutes pose
I love your latest sketches so clean! Great work =]
Here's a still life I did in pastels. Doing a glass of water might have been one of the trickiest thing I did in quite a while. I want to do more of these because they're fun!
Little pastel portrait of a cute little guy!
2 hour poses figure drawing made in pastel.
I really like your pastel drawings. They make me want to try using pastel too. Very inspiring : )
I like how the red drawing gives some warmth to the figure
I haven't updated in a while. Here are some sketch/drawing I did recently.
Drawing of my character Tommy from the comic I haven't worked on in a long time.Progress
Here's the work I did for the artwar. I might as well post it in here too. I had lots of fun working on the illustration
Hey Pretty cool the effect you got with the colors and texture on top ,really look made in a physical canvas
Thank you! I'm glad the effect worked well enough
New figure drawing pose I did after not doing it for a few weeks now. There's a few proportions issues (especially with her right arm) but overall I think it doesn't look too bad.
I like how you keep your athmospheric style for studies as in your characters
