Continued working on my MechaHellboy dude. For now it is a bit drafty, I've changed quite a few things, soon gonna polish everything, break the clothing symmetry and getting ready for retopo
Dropping a quick update on my status. Still working on my mechahellboy, the end is near, fortunately. You know, how it goes, when you've learned smth new and want to redo nearly half of your model Also, learning Substance Designer bit by bit, awesome thing! Hope to apply it to smth really soon
Coming along nicely, still a bit messy, but the most difficult stuff is almost done. Soon I'll get to texturing the guy, looking forward to it so much
I'm messing around and learning Substance Designer. So far just following the tutorials, but, in general, I feel that in the software itself there is nothing very complicated. All the tools are the same as photoshop tools (and the ones in Substance Painter, duh), just in the form of nodes. Once you get used to it, it works like a charm.
Small practice piece I've done just to clear my head. You know, turning on the music and just sculpting whatever comes to mind :3 Sometimes it's just necessary to do.
Decided to take part in the Sculptober (essentially sculpting 1 quick piece a day). Day 1 for me (since I missed the 1st and 2nd of October lol :D), topic: Dehydrated

Hey, guys! I hope you are having a great day. I need your help with smth. I'm making a model for 3d printing, which will serve as a gift to one of mine very good friends for his birthday. And thus, I'm attempting to actually make likeness (or smth close to it), for the second time of my Zbrush career. I will post some refs and the result I have now with and without perspective and hope, that smb can give me some valuable feedback, I'd appreciate it very much. Here we go (ignore the hair, it's just a placeholder for now).

With references I understand the issue that it's all from different cameras, even from different time periods, hence the difficulties. Hopefully someone more experienced than I'm can help me

Wanted to share the results of 3d printing this guy. I wasnt the one, who printed it, but I definitely like the result.
Feeling more comfortable with Marvelous Designer. In a good way, I discovered for myself that the simple artistic principle “from large to small forms” works even at the stage of creating clothes. It’s much easier to give the pants details, if the shape of the pants is initially set correctly (or at least you like it as an artist :3)

Hey everyone! Hope you are having agreat day! Posting another relatively quick project, I wanted to practice doing hair in this one. As you can see I totally failed in this regard :C Still a lot to learn to understand how to make sufficient hair, maybe I should give it a shot and render everything in Unreal and not marmoset. Feedback is more than welcome!

While everyone is busy with the Art War, I've renewed my daily anatomy practice, starting with arms.
Hey, everyone and especially to those of you who may have noticed my absence. Some decent news: 2 months ago I've got my first gamedev full time job, making stuff (models, anims etc.) for mobile games. Not that impressive, but as a first entry into the industry, it's quite exciting for me. Hence, I was quite busy for some time. I'm planning to go back to regular practice and posting some stuff, hopefully, daily. Also, I've decided to spice things up and practice rendering in Keyshot as well. The idea is the following: I'm practicing smth anatomical (for example sculpting hands) and I try to make a simple render, using the asset i've made. Here my first serious practice after some time - a hand :3 I'll post the rendered version in the next post.
