Thanks Lock,

Hmm ok, I will try adding more to the figure as well as moving forward in the course structure. Thanks

I will also try to assist others as you have recommended. I’m mainly afraid of giving others the wrong feedback as I’ve only started to receive feedback in community after joining this art school.

You are welcome. Personally I don't always have something to say either. When that is that case I generally just try to provide a compliment as I think sometimes that can make a big difference for people struggling with motivation. Also everyone makes many mistakes, there are some things you may be able to catch that other artists dont. I think also giving feedback helps you as well as you get to clarify your ideas. Hopefully that helps!

There are about 30 hands per page in the images above. Did these to fill up a portfolio so i could apply to one of the local art schools in my area. At first it was enticing as my country has a subsidy to reduce school fees by 90%. But after i found out the hard way that, since i already graduated from another school of the same educational level, I wouldn't be allowed for the subsidies hahaha.

I'll be posting more works that i did here.

Made these "References" For the characters I made. I wanted to make an expression sheet at first but with my limited capabilities, i decided to put a "pose" to help fill in the negative space and show case the characters. I also struggled to do clean linework as i didn't have the dexterity i thought i had hahah. So i opted for the sketch-ish marker look that i was familiar with on traditional media. I am actually quite proud of these, but i also know i need to improve in quite a number of ways.

As I was trying to make something Ghostbuster's themed. I was really placed out of my comfort zone when i had to make the technical props and equipment as they mainly focused on form and perspective. I'm pretty proud of the wands one. Most of these here are based of the "Ghostbusters: The Video Game" Models.

As i was trying to enter an animations and illustrations course. I tried my hand at making a simple skid/keys scene.

As I was unfamiliar with how keys actually looked (after searching online and seeing way too many confusing/contradictory examples without explanation) I just tried my best to imitate the majority i found.

Dang these hands are looking so freaking great! Lovely line weight. Really nice perspective on these neutrona wands, all of the blocky shapes look fantastic and the ghostbuster packs looking great too! Loving the different angles on all of these. Great studies makes for a great character! Really nice work!

Thanks @Lockenheim @prinzmoana For the nice words
I'm currently going back to marc's course and finishing up the 1 point perspective sheet as well as some figure studies.

Some works that i did immediately after completing the works made circa October 20th.

Made some refined drawings of Chester's face to my liking and ease of construction.

I've also realized something as i have noticed most of my cylindrical drawings tend to get muddy due to incorrect angles of the ellipses they produce. I tried looking online for a set of Ellipse angles to study how they distort in perspective as their angles reduce from 90 (A true circle) to 0 degrees (a line). Turns out i had to use a calculator and Sine in Trigonometry to find out. Thank god for my Engineering Diploma hahha.

Turns out they follow the sine curve based on my research. so at 75 degrees of tilt. The "Height" of the ellipse is 96% of the full circle. Whereas to achieve 50% height of the ellipse, your disc would have to be rotated 30 degrees. (Not 45 degrees some may have thought)

Which i found to be the cause when people look at an "intuitively designed cylinder" to be wrong since our eyes are so perceptive to the minute changes around our environment.

TLDR; Made some drawings and discovered something about ellipses.

Sorry if this text is so long. I posted this as my reference and its also a habit of mine to over analyze my work sometimes (In the wrong areas hahaha)

Some drawings i did as practice and study.

The first images in each sets are me trying to recreate the reference to my ability.
The Second image is my attempt to recreate the image from memory. I then analyze my work to notice the differences between my memory's recreation as well as any other attribute i may want to remove or add to my knowledge.
The Third attempt is to re-create the image and play around with the sizes, shape and proportion to my liking.

I'm mainly doing this to increase the input to output ratio of my work while also getting some quality practice in. I think i will try to time my self between sessions as well as try to recreate some poses in different perspectives and camera angles to challenge myself.
