Hey guys, I decided to try my hand at yet another Artstation challenge (the Space opera: Light Age), so here's the progress so far.Initial warm-up sketches and rough thumbnails for the Keyframes:
An update on the challenge:Reworked Frames 1 and 2 and designed the main character (a bit rough around the edges, but it's enough for the keyframes)
Have a nice day/evening!
I'm really digging the lighting and atmosphere for the two frames. Nice storytelling too! The first one is especailly cool
@cedricgo Thanks so much (and for the likes before that)!Just to use the occasion - Are there plans for an Art War 5??
Ok, so the Artstation challenge is done! I had a lot of fun with it, and now I'm excited for the next Art War
Have a niiice day!Edit: As an afterthought - How proper is it to upload another site's challenge here?? We might never know
Happy New Year, everybody!I wanna share with you the main character of a personal story! I've been exploring the feel and narrative I want to convey for the past 2 years (in my free time). So I finally decided it's time I start working on it officially
Here's a portrait of Kiera:
A quick practice doodle inbetween other projects:The chickens must be protected!
nice curvatures in those armor pieces!
Another quick sketch to practice style and lines:
Hey, just a heads up. The link to your Instagram account isn't working properly. It'd make sharing your awesome work on our social media a lot easier if you changed it to https://www.instagram.com/g_madzharov.art
Oh dang! Thanks! I forgot I changed my username some time ago!
EDIT: Should be fixed now! Again - thank you for the heads-up!
Another illustration for my personal project - Forged Souls. This is a slight rework of one of the first characters I created almost two years ago, while exploring different directions for the project!
Priestess of Silence:
Some lore: The Priestesses act as hunters for their Matriarch and the Cult of Ascension.
Have a nice day!
A quick practice sketch! It's mostly traditional with some added photoshop effects:
The purely traditional sketch (before photoshop):
My take on the Red Riding Hood! She joined the Wolf and they went on an adventure to hunt evil-doers in the icy forests of the Fairy Lands!
Hey! Long time no see in here! Here's something new! She's a high elf (woooo)!
And some steps, if anyone's interested (it's pretty straightforward, but still):
Looks awesome! I love the muted colors. It's very well painted
Thank you!! It started out as a value practice, so the muted colors were kinda fitting
