Visual Communication 2
1. Dots and Lines
This is what I consider important than perspective or anatomy. So will spend more time learning the elements. The artist is Fred Augis and some things I noticed while following his work. The Main focal point shows imbalance and gesture. Since this is just lines and shapes, the movement is a major element while she the major form in the picture. (Red) patterns are noticed on the neck line of the picture.
2. Doing some more analysis. The (red) outline is one big shape or dot making the focal point a good balance between the Harp and the android. The(white) convey a good set of textures on the harp but doesn't destroy the more important elements. (Yellow) lines convey moment and rhythm leading downwards from the head in 2 point perspective. (Purple) Lots of negetive space which helps focus on the main subject w/o distraction.
In
Volumes shes the 2nd biggest next to the Harp, but attracts the most attention. The White conveys the brightest color making her the most visible out of the elements.
3. This shows (Green)texture as a major element in while blending well with the focal point and other major elements. (Blue) displays geometric diagnal movement but scale and volume of the shapes are well balanced.
Another dope piece
IHOR Pasternak. This strictly design as the main focus. Lots of patterns and shapes on here outfit mainly. Scale and Volume - I notice it starts small(from the head) then gets large towards the waist line then shrinks again. Lines-In perspective is flat as well as all the other elements. Patterns & Texture -plenty of patterns while fused with the shapes and lines that don't kill the design.
