Here is the facial feature assignment that I spent weeks on cause I had like no motivation to do this

But looks like it can be used as a portfolio piece maybe and hopefully it can be a nice reference for other people to use

haha thank you, if you are referring to the facial features assignment it took me quite a while because I had no motivation to do them, I think it was around 3 weeks or so. I started off strong with the nose and ears and gradually ran out of fuel to work on this project.

Portrait study that I did a while back to study facial anatomy and because of the reference, lighting and colours as well. Seeing how it bounces off the various planes of the face and how each plane absorbs different values and etc.

thanks again! i think around 2 to 3 days, i would work on it and then switch off and game before doing it again so it did take some time (because I'm lazy)

Another portrait study that I did, this time only focused on the values so I did it in grayscale. While it isn't as appealing as the previous one, I think the brush strokes on this one are cleaner and better. Nice lil indication that I improved a bit ever since my previous one

You did a stellar job with this, the only thing that is standing out to me is the perspective on the lips seems a tiny bit off. It stands out to me because everything else is really spot on. I did a quick symmetry line on the center of the face that hopefully shows the issue.

Thank you so much for the critique, now that i focus more i can see the issue and yeah, the face really isnt centered or symmetrical. Probably one of the hardest parts of the face for me since there are so many muscles around the lip area that subtly changes the planes and also the plane that connects the nose and mouth extrude outwards and it can look very distorting when looking at another perspective.

Looking great, the folds look really nice. The spine does have a weird bend at the point where lumbar and thoracic seem to meet
