Yea, sorry about that, a misstep on my part.

I am definitely going to be changing the colors and using multiples to distinguish between the masses, line of action, joints and limbs to make it easier to see. Will also play round with the opacity of the reference image so its easier to critique.

Thanks for the feedback though, I appreciate it

Yesterday got away from me, had two meetings that I had to attend and the last one ran way over so I wasn't able to get home until late. So I didn't post yesterday, but did do most of the assignments (forgot to do the page of cylinders, woops). So Gonna post two days worth of stuff.

Got my butt kicked yesterday, just couldn't get things to go right for me. Was tired and I could feel it. Got through it though.

I get really in my head with cylinders and I think I'm self sabotaging. It's like I want them to be perfect but my skill isn't there yet so my mind just tries to overcorrect and then they end up worse. Will work on that, as these are a real struggle for me so far.

Hopefully the different colors and lowering the opacity of the reference more helps you all see the skeletons better. Let me know, if not I'll try something else with it. Felt better tonight that last night, just was able to kind of let myself be loose and I think I did alright with it. I like the different colors, helps me to distinguish where I'm going and I can be more critical of what I need to do better.

I am curious to see if I got the angle on some of the hips correct. I was standing up to try and see where the weight was going on my own body when I was trying to replicate the poses so hopefully they turned out.

Thanks for looking everyone, tomorrow the plan is to get my daily work done, do one of the photoshop assignments, and check out everyone else's new work.

These are looking great!

ooh these b looking great so far! only thing i would think to comment on is this one:

it doesnt look like it transitions to the larger size quite as smoothly and if you end up drawing something delicate, having that smooth transition would really help in terms of making the lineart look nice and not look like a smol chunk is missing  i used to struggle with that too XD i think it just comes with practice tho

Well thank you, and yeeeeaaaa. Don't know how I let that slide, I know I was tired but jeez I don't remember that one being so bad. Definitely will pay more attention in the future. It is tricky to get it some nights, hopefully it gets easier like you said haha.

Thank you though Mitsuki, appreciate it!

Well had a bit more time today to practice today. Did all but 1 of the Photoshop assignments (planning to do the other one tomorrow). Think I made slight progress with my cylinders today so that is a plus. Anyways, here's the work.

Had a lot of fun with this one, initially had another concept sketched out but couldn't find the right reference images in the timeframe I gave myself so just decided to go with it and make it work.

Then this was my first combined images project from when I had initially started the course. Had more time to work on this one than the new one but both were a lot of fun and a relaxing change of pace for me.

Overall, had a productive day. Let me know any tips for improvement you all might have and thanks for looking.

Wish I didn't have to crunch so much into a day to complete it all but at least I'm getting them done and feel like I am improving slowly.

@snakker Sorry I didn't see that you left a reply, Thank you! Appreciate it!

Just scrolled through your journey so far, and I have to say your pen control is phenomenal!.
Keep grinding that sweet EXP!.
