Any advice on this art project?

i've been working on this for a awhile and now im at a checkpoint in the progress, any critques/advice to this would help, thank you

Hey there
I'm not a professional by any means, in fact i'm just starting out but i hope i can somehow help.

Well, the first thing i noticed was the hand, it's too big and it doesn't look like it has bones.
Same with the other arm, but this one it's too small, you need to work in proportions.
Secondly, the hair. It needs to have flow, you need to feel it falling. Feel free to look for reference to know how it moves.
And lastly, the tones. It looks like you just used: the color and then black for the shadows (even if that's not what you did) you should have more variation for it to be more interesting and realistic.

And that's all, feel free to correct me if something i said it's wrong or something .

I'm a texture-loving guy, so what I think can make this painting more realistic is to add some textures to the clothes and accessories.

Another thing that you can do is add highlights and darker shades such as to the hair facing the light and in places where it's supposed to be very dark.

I hope someone who can explain shading, values and lighting can come along and help since I am not really good at explaining them.

Hi, nice WIP you got here!
I have not been giving people that much critique before so this is kind of new to me but apart from what others have said I would suggest to maybe make the background a bit more detailed. I think that would make the drawing look more interesting and give it some what more of a story to tell. I dont really have that much to say so keep up the good work!

Oh its all good. I made the video and apparently twitch can hear microscopic music in the background that I couldn't even hear, and blocked out the entire audio. I explained a lot of things and was just pissed that you weren't going to hear anything that I said. I might do it again for warmup tomorrow.

looks really nice so far. Nice eyes, i like them !
The only thing that confuses me a bit is her right hand. I don't know exactly why, i'm not an anatomy expert. maybe its to big ?
But overall its a good wip.

Since everyone seems to have spotted the hand (lol), I'll try to point out something else.

The way that the jacket is draw laying across the bench makes the perspective look off. Looking at it now, it loos as if the character might have some issues sitting on a slanted bench. Other than that, great job thus far!
