Hi everyone
My name is Ksu and i'd like to share my Art School progress here - and keep tracking it so there would be no excuses to quit.
I'm not really beginner, but also not a professional artist (but wish i will be one day).
It`s nice to be a part of community

I`ve already finished Term 1 and would like to share some results

Cool environment studies, I really like the way you have drawn the rocks

It's time to draw faces in Term 2, but I feel I miss head structure to understand what's going on there. So instead of Loomis sphere-schemes I decided to draw some skulls first.
Well, I found drawing skull in perspective fun enough, even if not really easy

So recently I have been studying face features and some shading.
Unfortunatelly, every time I fight photoshop more than actually draw and it is really frustrating

Also I realised I need 5-10 min for figure drawing to get somewhat ok result. Less if not enough for me

Those value/shading studies are cool, love the way you laid it out.
Also really nice asaro head study. The brush you used gives it a really satisfying texture.

I hadn’t seen your thread yet, and well, I won’t repeat what others have already said, but it’s a very impressive piece. Your linework is fluid and effective; I can’t wait to see how you progress over the coming weeks and months.

First of all, thank you everyone for your support and kind words, it really provides support and helps to keep going.

It's been quite a while since the last update on my course progress, but now it's time to proceed.
So, skipping some Loomis heads, I've tried my hand in portrait study and in general like how it came out. Also now I begin to get along with Photoshop, it's not such a pain in the back at least.

So first I tried lineart only and it was kinda ok

but after that i decided to challenge myself with shading and must say that was real fun, although time consuming

This last one i paint with no line sketch, just rough values and like it most
