"Recharge" (2026) - An attempt to create a splash art illustration featuring the legendary Kiki the Cyber Squirel, the official mascot of Krita. The image will be donated to the Krita project.

UPD: I decided to turn the Kiki illustration into a big package, including a detailed “making of” tutorial, and a brush bundle with my custom brushes, that I'll donate to Krita.

That was a fantastic and informative read. Very advanced light painting theory - but simplified! My favorite type of breakdown.

"Art is hard : ) " HA! The emotional roller coaster we all willingly get on for some reason.
