I like that my last post said that I would try to post more then I end up not posting after 2 years LOL. Here's some newer works and a WIP of a sketch that I decided to paint lol. Let's see if I can actually post consistently this time. Probably not. haha.

WIP.

This one is suppose to have some wonky proportions. Kind of like how Leyendecker's proportions can be "off" but still be believable. In this case, I wanted to use the weird proportions to make it feel "otherly" in a way.

My goals this year are to work on my rendering, designing, and try to get the hang of 3D Coat.

Hey, you*ve got some great stuff going! I do have a recommendation/critique though. You really seem to like having a ton of brushstrokes make up your painting, which looks cool. But I do recommend working in shapes rather than in litlle individual strokes for everything. Like this your painting gets overwhelmed with details and looses its focus. I also tend to have that issue sometimes. So yeah some resting areas and areas with details would really help your pieces. Otherwise they are lovely, keep going ^-^

Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah I definitely agree. I tend to go a little overboard and crazy with the details once I start rendering it all out. I need to remember to keep it simple and not overload the whole thing.

Painted a stone lantern and some Hollow Knight fanart. Slowly getting better at painting forms and understanding how shadows colors work. Marco Bucci's video about shadows is super helpful. So many epiphanies!

Been painting some weird stuff. I stopped at some point to add cheesy text to this painting because it started to look like the cover of some psychological horror film/book. I was laughing so hard adding the text. I even downloaded that font for the shits and giggles.

Inktober sketch! Am I going to do all 31 days? I have no freakin idea. Feel like every time I attempt inktober, I get 6 drawings in and then move onto other things xD Let's see if this year is any different. I'm just going to do what I can and have fun with it.

Ever since I made a cool plant sketch, I've been wanting to work on this idea of a world that's inhabited by plant people who are fighting over a resource. I was thinking of showcasing different units you'd find in their military and going from there.

This guy specifically would be like the vanguard of the unit. Has a decent enough defense to hold his ground because of his lily pad shield, but can quickly over take enemies and cover ground if need be. His design was inspired by Giant Lily Pads.

Aw geez, it's been a while since I posted. Tbh it gets a bit overwhelming trying to post on multiple art places often. I feel a bit bad, but I'll just keep posting whenever I can on here.
