It's difficult to describe.. I've the feeling that his body is clinched

Lovecraft would be proud. Also I think our ArtWar Champions would be fast friends
I really like that you went with a beak, sets it apart from other Mindflayer type characters. The Chitinous plates are also great, especially the lower-half of his body and the plates on the sides of his head.
Seems really solid man. Hard to point out any flaws from my perspective.
Is his right hand an actual crab? Thats really on-point.
I like that normally we see thing like this as Mindflayers and they are thin and wear robes and are clearly magic users of some kind. But this guy is real bruiser, like he's the General/Commander of all the Eldritch Horrors. Leading the Armies of C'thulu.

Thanks Chris, you are right in everything you said.
I am not sure about the height of the criature. I am thinking of doing it taller than a person or something like a titan the size of a galleon.

Love his right hand. Very clever. Wings are killer too. Looking forward to seeing more.

I absolutely love your concept! It looks horrifying yet bad ass! His face is awesome, love that little beak and tentacle things.

Only thing I feel is out of place is the design of the wings. They look awesome by themselves but I feel like they don't fit with the character very well as he's pretty much all exoskeleton and sea life while they're made out of bones

I have tried to find a shape between fish fin and the extremities of a lobster. I think with color it will be better.

Awesome, I am very interested in how the final illustration is going to be!

Amazing character concept / development!
The blue variant caught my eye immediately! goes well with colors of the sea.

Here you have the process of the final art. I chose the first one.

All feedback is welcome. Thanks for the support.

I really like the composition. , design, amazing choice of colors
I think you've done a great job.

maybe the other side of a wing? (I know it's covered but right now it looks like the character only has one wing)

Thank you, I was worried about the second wind. I will make a detailed test of the head in different views and render the complements too.

love it, one thing i really liked was the blue atmospherics on his head (first thumb), really gave the impression the monster is rising from the dephts and enhanched the scale, you shifted more tho whites cause the water twister is bringin in some air or just for the focus of the character?
