love it, one thing i really liked was the blue atmospherics on his head (first thumb), really gave the impression the monster is rising from the dephts and enhanched the scale, you shifted more tho whites cause the water twister is bringin in some air or just for the focus of the character?
Thanks @Pregium , i think you are right in both. My intention was to draw attention to the head and at the same time show that the light coming through the hole is from the surface because the creature is under the sea. My english is not the best but i hope you will understand.
you can add some foam like the one from crashing waves if so, it will underline better the difference between air/water

Thanks, good advice! If i have time i want to make one more ilustration (or maybe two little ilustrations more) out of the challenge to improve the background of the character.
