Did some clean up, thou I'm not digging the wing shape
The one on the left is my favorite so far. I like the hunched back and tiny head. It looks cheeky, like it would scuttle along and be very inquisitive, like a hermit crab running around a beach scavenging amongst tin cans and stuff for a new shell or something.

the robot was getting harder to draw because of the shapes, had to go into zbrush to build a base mesh. Took some time to construct the model because I forgot some functions and layout in zbrush, had to look up some tutorials haha. After that took some screenshot and just did a line drawing over it.
Thats why I love zbrush. Great program for blocking things out. Well it looks good so no problem there.
Did a little adjustment but not much, made it slouch a bit more, changed its fingers and eye shapes. Still need to figure out how the mouth is going to function and how this massive head is going to bend. As well this back side of the attachment of the tentacle.
Wow, you are going deep with this design, truong to figure out how everything works. I am on the sci-fi team and also drawing a robot, but I have no idea if I can design it to work also. I guess I should think about that... thats wat concept art job is about. Figuring out all the functions.

Yeah, I'm not sci-fi guy so had try to figure the design out, looking at real life stuff. Still don't know how this thing will actually work, and that is the thing, you need a balance of both design and function.
