All across the great expanse of the universe a call can be heard. It beckons only the mightiest of warriors to partake in what is the greatest competition in all the universe. A competition more epic than any god or advanced lifeform could ever dare dream of. A competition held only once in a millennia to prove who is the Greatest Warrior/ hero.
After several humiliating defeats by the hand of Athena, Ares, god of war and destruction, has heard the call. Finally, a way he can prove, not only to the other gods, but to all the cosmos his superiority. For this Tournament he has called upon his most powerful champion, The Champion of the Pit.
A warrior born in battle and without fear. Suckling on the Teat of the arena he knew no friend, only enemies. As he grew in age so did he in strength and hate. At the age of ten he took down two cyclops and a platoon of veteran gladiators. By the age of 20, Ares was so impressed with the now young man that he granted him his blessing. He shed is blood into the giant fountain that stood in the center of the arena. He asked the young gladiator to drink from it, and so he did. The young gladiator became overcome with the bloodlust and rage of a mad god. He grew to epic proportions and his strength was now 100 times fold. The young gladiator is man no more but demi-god. He gains strength from each fallen foe and knows only destruction and valor. With this incredible warrior under Ares' control he is sure to win the respect of the cosmos.
