Here my first design idears
I have this weird feeling your a DND player. Great idea.
I play rpgs on pc but actually never played DND. I used the ability system to give mycharacter some more depth though
I like the face sketches especially 2,3,5,6 try to ocmbine those and for the weapons.... there's no such thing as too much details!!! hahaha just kidding hahaha, I love the sword with the detailed one, but for the handle, make it classy, like black or white, and dont put too much details, but overall I like your concept idea! Keep it up

I like both designs, but I can feel the sci fi better on the 2nd one, but you could combine 1st designs head to 2 and some certain clothing from the 1st to 2nd.

i think i will go with pose 1 ... but i slightly rotate the view so the image dose not look flathere is a first sketch for the illustration what do you think about it ?

but did a new concept for the weapon (hope it is not to fancy ) and a more detailed sketch of the pose I want to go with in the illustration
... when I look back at the illustration sketch I did yesterday I think I will crop it a bit closer to the character (I think the corridor is a bit to distracting)

I like the first character. It has more colors and looks more unique. There are lot of designs that use the second characters design idea... i dont mean 100% but simmilar colors and idea. Its lot harder to find something colorful. Allthouht colorful is fun... it can be tricky to make the character balanced and work on the illustration. So maybe mixing those two ideas?
@berrysquare thanks for your feedbackmy idea with the first one was some kind of underground warrior but I picked no 2 because he is more Sci-Fi oriented. I think I will not take the helmet but anything like head 3 to give him some more personality. I hope with the interesting pose and the face he dose not look too generic
