I prefer the previous one. And I understand why people like this closeup shot. Maybe it is just me, but I find the position of your character in the frame is a bit awkward.

After a few trials, I think I figured out how to fix it. I feel like there's too much space on the right side, which makes it difficult for my eyes to find their way around the work and identify which object to focus on.

I cropped it (just the right side) and I actually think it looks much better. It really helps in shifting the focus point back to the main object, which is your hero. The victim is a minor object but nevertheless important in connecting each elements in the illustration. But I believe you dont have to include all of the figure in the frame.

You can try and experiment. Maybe you will find something more to your liking.

Okay. So. I had been thinking about this piece a lot, and I really felt like I needed to change my angle (literally and figuratively lol). I really needed to be happy with this piece, and I needed to be excited about it if I were going to have the stamina to complete it. SO everything was scrapped and I started anew:) I kept in mind everything you guys had to say while drawing this, so I hope it looks good. I also made it a little bit more my own, stylistically. I hope you like it:) I will get to coloring it soon!

I'm impressed to see how dedicated you are to make this ilustration looking amazing. I was already amazed by the first preview but the last one defintly blows my mind. You made a good choice to change the angle! I really feel the energy dynamic of the pose and the wight of the body + it gives a nice definition of deph and make the envionment more clear.
Can't wait to see the colors appearing- From what i've seen, I love with your coloring style! I woud be really courious to see how you proceed one day

I love seeing how this is slowly turning out. I've been watching this forum for awhile but I never left a comment but I just want to say your work inspires me so much. The anatomy, colour, design, and your style is remarkable. It really means a lot to me that you like my work. It makes me envious but in a good way like you're my drive and seeing your work is what really made me start to really take this competition seriously.

Thank you for posting the process, this is very helpful for the time I have to render my piece! At this point the only thing I would add is a little bit of tree destruction caused by the giants charging, also a little bit of terrain decline indicating her massive weight maybe? It's absolutely stunning! Keep it up

I don't know if I can criticize since I'm nothing compared to you , but I think the moon light on her right shoulder is too bright compared to the rest of her body ( unless it's desired to attract our eye around her face? )
