I love both genres! But for this challenge I've chosen team Sci-Fi. I've been brainstorming ideas and I've settled on developing my cyborg design, her name shall be Edra Quintan.

Nice idea! Very unique. I like the transparency. Perhaps when you color it you could have little robotic lights glowing beneath the skin, kind of like jellyfish. You question it being able to fight, so you could add weaponry or armor. On the other hand, it looks intelligent, so maybe it's offense is controlling a larger machine?

I really like the idea of a Giger-esque Naga-type character. I await to see how this develops with baited breath.

I've been working on some thumbnail ideas for the composition and colours. Which ones are the most appealing?

A bit more work on the thumbnails, I think I'm going with the middle composition.

I've done some design sketches in pencil on paper. I definitely need to do some more head sketches and try to nail down the look I want to persue. Drawing the seahorse tail is very tricky, I made a drawing with lots of construction lines trying to get the form correct which these were drawn on top of.
