This is a study of the character seen from behind. Especially, I wanted to focus on shoes that are not described in the previous sketch. I also tried to put the colors to see how they work ... I hope quite well because they are my favorites! (°. °)
Well, here’s some speculation… I think that although some elements could be converted to sci-fi world, Ekpyros belongs to the fantasy genre.
So, why Ekpyros? His name derives from the greek word “ekpìrosis” = “that came out of the fire” and that, in Greek philosophy, is the universal conflagration or the end of the world according to the Stoics. Such a badass concept for a warrior! \m/ \m/
But who ho is Ekpyros? I guess a sort of God/Spirit of the musical justice. Is there one? Just for fun I dream that when your ears are bleeding because something that you’re listening to, this is evil and so you need a guardian musical angel, a sort of vigilante and in a fantasy world he could be also a punisher. So, this is the silly original idea!
If we were in a comic Ekpyros could destroy a mountain with the sound of his guitar or hypnotize his enemies. Who they could be? Others like him. If they collaborate is a symphony, if not, it’s cacophony ;.)
Now, let’s cut this nonsense stream of consciousness because I must produce the final illustration! The deadline in damn close .
