Hi everyone! I'm new here; the contest sounded like alot of fun so im giving it a shot
Here is my Artstation as well as facebook page:

Sci-fi is my genre of choice.
My idea is still vague so far; I want to take inspiration from the Chinese tale of Ma Liang and the Magic Brush, where a peasant boy--armed with a magical brush that realizes whatever he paints--outwits the greedy emperor and frees the people. Here is a link to a synopsis of the tale: http://www.worldstories.org.uk/stories/story/154-the-magic-paint-brush
My plan is to use this story as a basis for a superhero set in a dark, dystopian sci-fi world; specifically an anarchist's superhero who is truly above law and order, using a device called the Entropy Engine to sculpt and manipulate matter into objects to help the oppressed masses.
Here is a first pass of designs. I want to explore a bio-mechanical design language, where the hard-surface parts seem chaotic and organic to keep with the theme of the character. The two large designs to the left and right are my personal favorite, my plan from here is to combine the two designs in some way while pushing the idea further. Any input is greatly appreciated!
