Really nice stuff i like the front runner also, though i don't feel like they are dynamic enough.

I can visually see him sort of posing like this from like a tree top or mountain cliff side that conveniently allows for some sort of bottom up view that captures his enemies off guard so this pose here: https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRhh8Brj1JZdmRZJEHmCdh6cSlxNXJpHK4Q1g5Phyy6PQPTFp8EEA seen from the bottom up, so the viewer is looking up at the surprise attack sort of thing.

With his wings spread open, also the cool arm design you had going on can still be used as a guantlet type of thing, (think lion-o from thunder cats)

Great anatomy work, the looka and armor is amazing, i kind of liked the "cursed" arm but its still awesome, it definitely inspires power

Here are all of the sketches I've done trying to figure out the pose for the illustration. Im having a tough time deciding on which one to go with.

H, D, C and E are my favorites. If I had to choose 1, then I's say go with H...Awesome work. Love what I see. Keep it up.

H and D jumped out at me. I like the echoing shapes you've got between the arms and wings in D, maybe if you could get that with the more dynamic angle in H?

.H like the rest, i feel perhaps if his head was angled up toward the viewer slightly (as if he just jumped down from somewhere and then focusing on his target) so an almost raised "eye brow" type of challenging look.

Nice work on them poses, like the others i was also wondering about the positioning of the wings while looking at the choices.

I think pose depends on composition. There's no armor and wings, so it's hard to predict how it all will be work together.
Top part of "C" and all "B" is epic. I would also try to combine top part from B with D pose (but with head from D, looking on top).
G is interesting too. I would try to add bit more dynamic here.
H and I - nice, but a little shriveled, tight for illustration, imo.
Anyway, very cool anatomy and dynamic in all your sketches, really nice.
Just need a bit more info about illustration to say something specific.

...so my computer died a week and a half ago - beautiful timing right?

I had spent so much time trying to retrieve all of my data that I was beginning to think I'd run out of time before I could finish.

Luckily I got all of my data on my new computer and can go into turbo mode until I finish.
