@dlvasco , @douglasderi Thanks guys! I'm very glad you liked my character. I appreciate it. I will try not to disappoint you.
well..in my head it looks much better)).
Keep doing! Maybe you can make the composition more dramatically. It would fits great to the creature ^^
I like the overall concept but i think it would be fun to play around with different layouts. I love the pallet. Though maybe you could have him on the ocean floor with a lower camera that point s upward to where you see a ship on the surface of the water and you can tell everyone on that boat is gonna die based on how the character is posed or its body language. But that is just one suggestion. the sea monster mythos has a lot of fun things you can do with it. I look forward to seeing it completed!
I like the lighting setup. Just needs some cold shadows:)
thanks, @frankenstejin ! I will
Probably you are right, @alexbrewer2238 ! I think I must to make more thumbnails to select the composition and the story.
Yes , @sanguine! warm light - cold shadows! I must always keep it in my mind.
I like it! Design is great and I like the pose in final image set. I would change one thing there - pull the whip a bit to the side and back so it would be more visible and stand out (right now it blends a bit with overall silhouette), which would be great because it is an ass-kicking whip! It would also add more dynamism. Additionaly if the camera would be lower then the character would appear bigger (if that is yor goal).
But overall I like it a lot! Keep it up!
RegardsJonatan
I really like your concept and no worries, at first it always looks better in your head Although I really like the colour scheme for your character, perhaps mix some cool contrasting/complementing tones (like a cool purple tone?) in the background to make your champion stand out.
@jonatan-moonchild , @evehartman Thanks a lot for your advice! I appreciate it !
This looks lot better than the first go around. I like the spiral composition you have going so so far.
Thank you, @Malcom! )
It looks better with the colors a bit dimmed down like the last one. Else the reddish tint reminded me of cooked crabs. Love how well you made the exoskeleton. Great work overall!
thank you, @simic1 ! I agree, my crab is not for food))
Yes nice work! The green/blue tones work really well
I'm glad you like it, @evehartman !))
Cool idea, i just think that you have too much empty space, try to bring him close to the viewer, and fill the gaps with some story, or elements that complete him.
good luck to your character
thank you, @douglasderi! Yes, I would like to add splashes of lava, cracks and stalactites to fill an empty space ..
