Giving it an initial try, with any luck and some hard work I may carry this project to the end.
Though everything may be up to revision or complete start-over, the character in mind as of now is a witch hunter from a torn galaxy of the future. Inquisitor Vilhelmina is a member of a nun-warrior caste who hunts and destroys those who stray from the natural laws and sciences and turn to the mysterious evil powers which can only be termed "magic". It is her mission to purify the galaxy and together with her sister and brotherhoods bring back order to mankind, under the power of science and reason.
So, I'm team sci-fi, and my character is out to destroy everything fantasy. Taking this deal quite literally...
It's important to note that I'm heavily inspired by some awesome work by Tabnir, my hope is to try and fuel my inspiration with this rather than copy or mimick the style all too much.
Anyway, here are some early sketches, trying to capture different looks from historical witch-hunters, crusaders, knights, conquistadors, jesters, witch hunters etc. ALso having some fun trying to come up with a symbol/insignia for the order/faction of my story. I like the last one, down left, with geometry symbolizing science and an eye vigilance against magic, but maybe I want something more fearsome...
