One day I came to a mage, necromancer, for the book. And he asked me "Why do you want to move your soul into mortal human body?
You have endless life, you overcame the time!

Silly human... They always do not appreciate what they have. Yes, I can exist forever, but do I really need this kind of life?

Once I lived real life, and now I am just a piece of stone that has laid in the ground for million years ... what for?
I can't even drink or dance! No love and no any joy in my life.

Being alive is like a delicious meal after a long hunting . My existence is
an endless flow of fresh water, my anguish exceed all the mankind.

But the mage did not hear the answer because I really can not speak. But I
gave him something that is so loved by all the necromancers ...

Once, very long ago, Iron Overlord went hunting for dinosaurs. There were other wizards. According to an ancient ritual, after a successful hunt, they decided to celebrate and drank... too much.
Alas, not all guests were friends. Alcohol was awakened by the anger, resentment and hatred...
When Iron Overlord woke up, it was over. And very bad end. He was lying under a pile of trees. Weapons weren't there. He did not feel any metal around.
He was trapped, with no chance for salvation. Just had to sleep... for a centuries.

After millions of years his mind had awakened. He felt the metal. Somewhere near drove the lone knight. He was an ordinary man. A bystander rescued the great magician... the Irony.
People. Iron Overlord loves people. Elves - too boring. Get too greedy and constantly hiding in caves with their gold. And the people - they know how to live in the present!
