(19/02/2017) Been at work for a couple of days now. so only done a few tweaks here and there. 9 Days left. got to push to get this done. Did some minor tweaks blocked out the ship and started doing the soldiers around.

(20/02/2017)Started doing final detail of the turn around. Also carried on main illustration. Having problem with different monitor showing different lights.

(21/02/2017) Did the final details on the the turn around not sure if it too much patterns. Keep the tribal theme but adding a sci fi twist.

(28/02/2017) Finished the pieces hopefully. Pretty happy with the end piece. Thank you for the people that commented and took the time to look at my work. It is very much appreciated. Not expecting to win, I just did this to get me motivated and as a portfolio piece. Good luck to everyone. Great pieces out there.

FINAL SUMBMISSION:

I went for the ultimate sci fi hero a strong leader . Taking the classic Sci Fi hero with a slight twist of my own.
She is a ruthless killer and honest leader. My idea is the last of her race of a very unadvanced sci fi race. There is a very tribal place of strong warriors. As a child however, an Alien Invasion enter her home planet and wiped her race with only a few rescued by another race that came as aid. She spent her child life as a space refugee until she was old enough to join the space corp. Now she spends her life seeking revenge on the aliens that destroyed her planet. Succeeding in her Foot Soldier Company she excelled through her ranks to become a Major. She and her men are always in the front line leading the charge and symbol of force. They call her the Spear of Saecula because of it. My design focus on combining the typical sci fi esque solider so it is oozing with ulitmate sci fi and then also will give it a twist with a African tribal feel.
