Going for Fantasy - so let's start with my epic champion's epic background story:
As a child her entire village was burnt to the ground, her family massacred then brought back to life to serve, and she was taken to be raised by a necromancer cult. She spent years learning the art of dark magic and secretly looking for ways to get revenge; but the high priestess's power had no limits and the quest seemed like suicide. She had no other chance but to sell her soul and so she defeated the priestess with demonic help. After the victory she travelled the world, looking for a way to get her soul back. She spent decades learning from the greatest sorcerers, fighting against the evil and helping the ones in need. As a fearless warrior, she slowly became well-known all over the world and people respected and liked her, even though her methods sometimes seemed a bit controversial. As her powers grew, she decided to challenge her demon and - as by then she was the most epic champion on the world - she defeated it and took her soul back.
Some research:
She is tall and slim, got mixed features and dark skin. She is wearing a carved bone armour (this is where her name comes from, apart from being able to raise the dead). I will aim for a more 'tribal' look, sketches are coming soon.
