Awesome work! Your horse is definitely looking a lot less derpy than mine, haha! Really nice work on detailing the foreground character but still maintaining the focus on your hero, it's a delicate balance

@chagens Thanks ! it's not a magical ball, it's an anti-monster grenade, it's made to stunt and/or repel monsters but the effect is different if used on humans. But I can't say more without spoiling my book

Nashtar Hero of Noshtraad - Alyshia

Hero story :
"Alyshia was born in the Realm of Althénia. Since she was a kid she always dreamed to become a knight in the king's army but the country don't take women is the army. Alyshia decide that she'll be in it no matter what so everyday on her free time she trained at sword fighting.
When she was old enough she finally tried to enter the army, and to put all the chances on her sides she make everyone think she was a man. And it works for some time but they discovered the truth. She was rejected and exiled from Althénia.
Alyshia end up wandering in Noshtraad, where a member of the Guard Sorcière find her and saw her potential. She quickly become one of the best recruit and rank up very fast. She then get her knight name, Nashtar, and soon become a famous hero in the kingdom.
That's why when the king heard about that dangerous criminal, Elhyana, ploting to destroy the kingdom, she was immidiatly send to stop her !"

Maybe it's your file that's a bit heavy, when you save your image reduce the quality to 9 or 10 and it should work

Didn't make it to the Top 30 sadly, but it was a great experience, I learned a lot and I have a new pretty cool illustration for my book! Congratz to the winners !
So now who wants to know who's gonna win between the two characters ?

Yeah sad too for you buddy, and sure for lots of other artists !
But I heard 850 forums (??!) were opened here (just for 2D part) - crazy man !!!

I can feel the pain for the judges too and their choices... not easy, because they already know it always bring sadness to some people.

But like you said (and I already heard elsewhere too), it was a really good experiences for a lot of artists - and not only for the art part, but also for the very friendly/big cheers/big pushes/great helpers/critiques !
