My only issue is that the colors in the background are taking my attention away from the character. Maybe a little less saturation or contrast?

Really liking the phoenix design, it's a pity it doesn't play much of a part in the illustration, at the moment it's barely in the frame. It would be great if we could see a lot more of it, instead of it being crammed in at the top like that.
