Couldn't find the time to draw so I just thought a bit about her and gathered some references
Right now I gave her the name "Ru". Short and catchy, that's how I like it : )
I thought that she might lost her parents to a beast and became a beast hunter because of it (very simple story so far). Next to her nice beast arm she also got a heavy drinking problem (even the mightiest hero needs some flaws to become a believable character). I like the thought that she is drinking in a tavern (what's the asian pendant to a tavern?) and get's into some bar fights from time to time. Maybe even provoke these fights.
She is wearing her little piece of samurai armor under her kimono. That was my first idea and I still like it so far. Maybe to be underestimated which can be a huge advantage. Or maybe this armor was from her father, she want's to wear it to honor him but she also doesn't want anyone to recognize it.
So, slowly she get's some character.
