Well...obviously I really couldn't make it...
I mean I got some tremendous problems to finish a piece but first of all I think I need to focus more on thinking about my scene before going to paint and change all my stuffs over and over again...
The other problem I always (and forever ?) have is I can't focus on one style - sometimes it's dark, the other day it's comedy, etc...and the last paintings I have done were not giving me fun at all.

Anyways that was a fun trip and a great challenge.
Really feel the need to thanks every people here, so I guess I can't name them all but at least some, in no particular order @s-stark @rgdraw @nevs36 @berrysquare @justartress @yuushin7 @Pat_Boiteux @aeguilrod @tck @Iago_Cavalcante @malcom ....and lots of artists on here ! (only could mention 10 people :frowning: )

I know how you feel ....
I hope we all get to do another challenge ... i'm sure there will be ... and for sure it's gonna be WAY TOUGH! but .... that's the fun in it i guess.

The best part though ... looking forward to meeting all of you again and just going nuts.

Thanks a lot Neville.
You can't imagine how I want hardly punch myself since few days (weeks ?).

I always like a challenge, but I think this one was one of the hardest.
So much good artists on here, that's crazy !

Maybe I give it a try to post a blog one day or another.

NOO don't do that man :frowning:
Just switch to something else .. let that thought go away.

Each challenge will be harder than before. The last two that i failed taught me many things.
So best is to plan .. prepare .. but most of all .. enjoy it. That way you won't feel any pressure at all ... it'll be like you're working on your own project ; Just that .. there will be a with a dark hourglass looming over your head :wink:

As for me ... everyday is a learning process.
Even i get nervous seeing other artworks ..

Yet .. i love them more, because it give's me so many ideas .. ways to push myself.

sorry to hear that. Im glad you were able to enjoy this and hopefully you've learned a lot from it, thats what REALLY matters. It was awesome seeing you progress and solve problems. Keep up the good work :smile:

Honestly that's rare to make friends on challenges (sure that happens but not many like that ^^), and also get tons of (good) feedback and interesting comments !

Yeah Sierra...like I said earlier I should have start one month before (means in December).
Still I'm not even sure if this would have solved many problems I had along the process.

Indeed.

Some challenges I participated in the past people were super harsh and arrogant.

Many challenges don't feel like a community, that's is different here. I hope people realise that, of course we all would want the prizes, but this is not the point of the challenge, the point its to give your best and grow as an artist.

And meet amazing people and see amazing art.

What everyone else said, haha! :smile: I wasn't expecting to meet so many kind and helpful artists when I started this contest either, but wow! This is a really nice community. Sorry you weren't able to finish; I always enjoyed seeing your updates. At least now you are free to recharge after that huge effort. Cheers, man. Keep creating those "super complicated" worlds! :smile:

In fact that's the opposite that happens haha - Only want to draw more and more and maybe maybe find a style that really fit my needs...but I have no idea if that day will ever come...
And I don't think my worlds are "super complicated"; in fact I feel sometimes they lack in "soul" or something like that...and that's something that needs a lot of work for me.
For some artists, this is super easy - you look at their work (even when it's a simple piece or sketch), and you're like woooow, man...ok my work is sh*********t haha

And i read your post, about the style, don't try to find it, it finds you and you won't even know it, that's how it works. Same for the "soul" , since you're the one that made it you won't see it, we all feel that our work don't have it.
So don't worry about this just keep practicing ! :smiley:

There is some reasons but... I don't know...too social stuffs need even more time - and I don't think I could handle everything.
Or else, some medias will be totally lost in the oblivion...

I think about styles that I can't choose one but embrace them all XD
But this is also somehow bound to the mood you have at the moment you draw...

And sure I always keep practicing even when I post nothing here or elsewhere.
Some things do not deserve to be shown...I guess ? haha

That's true, too much social media and you have no social life at all xD
I mainly use facebook, I don't like twitter too weird xD

Well about style...I think I somehow find one that suit my needs...thing is I'm not really sure if viewers like it.
