@Steve_Kim Thanks man. I was thinking it was some kind of magnetic enchantment type deal put on his weapon and the back of his armor, where they just kinda stick together when they arent in use, like it all just snaps in place when he lets go of it and stops surging his magic through it. Seems about as logical as the rest of it xD

@HorizonDweller Thank you so much, you are very kind. Orcs are my absolute favorite thing in all fantasy settings so i thought i'd put an amusing spin on one.

Hes an orc, and not a very smart one either, so hes not gonna take the time to get his axe modified when he can have someone zap it together lol

I didn't have allot of time to play tonight so I thought i'd throw up a few quick ideas for a color pallet on his axe. Next I'll be doing a color pallet for mister wizerker himself.

I'm leaning towards 3, but none of them seem to go far from the mid-value range, there aren't really very dark darks and very light... lights. I'm guessing the sphere is supposed to glow?

@yorieofthecastle Yes the sphere s supposed to glow, and it will when i finalize everything and the colors will get sharper I just tossed some on to try to find a starting point

Dropped some simple color overlays over mr wizerker. I'm having a really hard time picking his color pallet so i tried to make them all kind of radical to get some ideas, but i'm still not sure. Any suggestions would be wonderful so I can start the illustration

really digging these I would try some color palettes that have a darker value range, or a tighter darkest-dark to lightest-light range. I think these thumbnails all share a pretty light value range, thus making these colors a bit washed out. Keep up the good work!

@twistedxp yeah i'm assuming you've colored these in by a layer option, such as overlay. When you do that, your colors reflect on the VALUE RANGE of the layers beneath. I would just try to tweak the values Cheers!

I know the value range is still garbage lol. I'll fix that when I settle on a color set and outfit. I decided to try out leather armor this time and I'm liking the feel of it a lot more, it's a lot more flexible.
