I Have created a quick background story for my mech battlesuit, it helps me to stay consistent and keeps my creative pool at high levels.
You never know maybe I create a mini comic series or a new IP from this if it turns out well.

Project X-calibr

X-calibr battlesuit the new mankind's secret weapon against the Stardemons threat.
Stardemons are a deadly race known in the universe also as world eaters, they spread across galaxies devouring entire solar systems to sustain their life force and to expand.

X-calibr battle mech suits purpose is to create an elite squad the spearhead of man's last offense forces.
They hoppe to end the war of wars, planning to send them where no living creature can stand before and fight behind the enemy lines inside Demotron, Stardemons living planet and vital energy source.

The strategy is to man the x-calibr mech suits not with pilots as usual but to connect them with the essence of the most deadly and legendary weapons forged across the universe.

Weapons used to end millions of lives and saw endless action in the battlefields
welded by the hands of legendary war heroes.

New advanced technologies that developed managed to detect and communicate with each weapons aura and vital essence. Placing them in exoskeleton bodysuits, makes them act like living ghosts with full self-awareness and will power.

In our case I want my mech to be controlled by the essence of the most
Iconic and powerful sword in the history of mankind,
the legendary sword of King Arthur Excalibur.

I'll keep that in mind as I continue with my process, the bottom lefty is one of my favs too

Took one step further my initial sketches, adding details into my main two mech suits, nothing is certain yet.
I've decided to play some more changing mediums, I'm planning to do some quick loose inks to explore more designs aspects.

I've pushed my options with some quick inks exploration.
C&C are more than welcome

I'm going to try some more of those and then explore some concepts about how weapons been installed in the battlesuits.

I have also done some thumbs searching my final composition for the splash image.

Thank you so much Berryscuare, turnaround sketching is really time-consuming, I will start the main illustration tomorrow and I hope I will finish it on the edge
I have done some pencil thumbs to nail my composition, I will scan them and upload them soon.
