This looks really cool, maybe try an open sea and clear skies type of environment. It may fit the bounce light that is already present on the Mech's hand and would be a great contrast element if you introduced some blues

I miss some contrast with the colors of the background. I think an other color could be fantastic at this point.

This is amazing! I love the style and delicate detail in the rendering.

Maybe some sort of rim/bounce light would help to pop the character out from the robot? and then a desaturated blue haze to push the background away. I really like the subtlety, but maybe there's a danger of the elements blending in too much on the first read.

That's awesome, great work with all those details. Since the character is mostly red-ish, I think a bright blue sky would fit the image better.
