Now time for some back story!
My character used to live in a village close the border of the kingdom, and often close to the battlefields during the war between the two kingdoms. Very often her village was destroyed because of the war. being traumatize by all this when she learned there was someone trying to unleash evil on the Three kingdoms she decides to do everything possible to stop her!
(She also has a son that joined the kings army, she later learns that he was killed when his squad was whipped out by chasing the villain)

Now let's find her a name! Any suggestion?

Yes I'm planning to do more, this was to mostly get the idea on "paper"
I'm gathering a lor of references right now and choose the most relevant one, so I can get much more interesting design :smile:

Well I still need to do better for the next time I try to give clues xD

Overall I'm really into the designs on the top row; I think I'm just not super into the skirt for the ones on the bottom row and that's my only qualm. xD

Of them all, the ones that you have enlarged on the left are my favorite and I can't pick between the two. :sweat_smile:

The one between the 2 you've enlarged could be nice too...I suggest maybe a mix of them 3 ? haha

@mr_dessin @s-stark I've made a huge mistake!! I should have put numbers on each one because I have no idea which ones you are talking about ! XD

More seriously I understand, but it's not as easy as it would have been If was smart enough to put numbers on it

So If I understand well the two big ones are your favs so far, but maybe le long hair could work too with those?

ENLARGED (but yes you figured it out haha) - the very 2 first (2nd and 4th)...I was talking about the 3rd one as well...and last one (8th).

I suppose you don't like short hair, isn't it ? xD

Yeah I got it right!
I don't mind short hair I'm just more used to paint long hair that's why x)
ButI feel like the short hair fit more the character and I was curious to know if it was just me

hi! i love the direction you are taking with this! I agree with you about the long hair on this character, and i really like all the different capes you used on her! i think a combination of the first row (all 4 images) would be awesome! good luck! can't wait to see more :blush:

Which ones are you refering too?
If it's the first ones, yes I made those before this contest but some were made for the previous editions of Artwar, but of course none of them matter for this current contest
I put them so people would have an idea of the universe where my new character come from
Is it more clear ? I suck at explaining things so I hope it's fine xD

By the way, now that I have a character that's almost finish designing, a story, and abilities I should probably find her a name don't you think? :smile:

I just read through most of this topic and am super excited to see how your character turns out! In terms of naming, maybe think about what sort of culture she has as well as typical naming conventions in the world. I picked a cultural aesthetic for my character and then went and did some googling of names that sit within that realm :smile: Maybe go for something Amazonian? Kind of fits with the spear aesthetic and leather armour :blush:
