woo hoo! thanks! glad im going in the right direction now! <3

Something I didn't saw but...the left character, where is he looking at ? (also maybe his left thigh is a little too big in comparison of right one, no ?)

You're welcome and sure, this is really better : D

@mr_dessin hay thanks for the crit! i changed the thigh a bit, because it looks too big, even though its constructed correctly for the focal length. but if it looks wrong, it is wrong, right? xD

also, heres a peak at the stuff i rendered out today. im at a point where i just have to fire from the hip and trust my construction. the deadline is just looming ever closer. xD I BELIEVEEEE

looking good so far, I suggest you to show more of your character by making him and the civilians appear closer though

deal! thanks for the input.

Late to the thread here, but i am LOVING the amount of thought and ideation you're putting in. I do the same myself! The final composition is coming along very nicely! If you're looking for any sort of feedback, I'd say the main focal point (Nur) is being a bit lost with all the stuff behind him. That's my opinion at least, and it's nitpicky because I love what you have going on.

ayy. thanks @pencilequipped ! ill keep that in mind fosho! <3

also, i finally just crunched down my image and went berzerk on it. xD i was feeling pressed for time, because i have newyears/bday plans, so i just went nuts on this thing... then after the workday, i found out that the deadline was extended. lol. xD

This is looking so awesome!! I love the composition!

hahah I feel the same way, it's odd to have the opportunity to go back and make changes now the deadline is extended :stuck_out_tongue: I think I'm gonna stick with what I've got though; I'm gonna try my best to make an entry for the Artstation Nasa thingy and I know they aint gonna be extending :stuck_out_tongue:

looking awesome btw, red sky really sets the mood and the bright light of his shield does a great job of telling you what to look at.

awesome work and i like it composition

Looking really great and I do love the perspective work if I didn't say that before.

One thing that stands out in the current image is that the car does not really look like its interacting with the shield yet. Apologies if you just aren't there yet, but perhaps having the tire leave a golden interaction stream along where it is ramping off into the air along the shield.

Its looking really good, love the new layout.

oh wow! its been forever since ive posted! i got caught by holiday plans but im still workin on the piece while i can. hehe.
@sanguine @petrovod thanks guys! i appreciate the kind words. <3
@tck thanks buddy. still arriving at the right hues, but yeah. the separation helps a lot. also, ill keep an eye out for your nasa entry! gotta support the homies!
@PeterH thanks peter. still working on it, but ive been putting that off, since the intersection is a rough thing to design. xD the bright line is gonna mess up my silhouette, so i have no idea how im gonna pull it off when i get around to it. send me your energy! \o/ haha

also, it looks like everyone is uploading images to the site and its changing the dimensions of the image. does anyone know if this will disqualify me from the contest? should i let it be, or should i figure out how to get the site to upload the proper image dimensions?

If you look at the brief requirements it has specific pixel dimensions for your character sheet, but the illustration it seems has no limits. There is some advice on maximum limits in the faq bit, but it's very vague.

right. my images are 2048x2048 and 3426x2048 respectively, but the site uploads them to the forums at 1638x1638 and 1806x1048 respectively. i have no idea why.
