-Born long ago from the cursed bloodline of an evil fire elemental, The friendly Bao Huang (Ol' Flametongue) had made an oath to use the elemental's power for good. Now in his old age, he keeps his promise burning strong.-
Heya! This will be my second time participating in Art War, and I'm super excited to share my progress here. I've had to retry in making this particular account for the contest so far (mostly because im a dingus) but now I think iv'e got the title looking like it should. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Lets all have fun with this thing!

Starting off my sketches and concepts traditionally~ I wanted to keep the design as a sort of "halfway" transformation between Bao and the elemental's appearances. In his normal attire, he has much more human-like attributes (gotta keep that identity a secret, you know!) He's giving me Uncle Iroh / Gran Torino vibes at this stage.
