Hello to all!
I worked in more detail two colors of the character. I chose the second version.
Reflecting on the character of the character - this is a warrior domineering and thirsting for victories. I want to emphasize courage and strength in the image. She gets a little arrogant, but I like it :tiger:

Aye the blue/gold/red is a combination more associated with royalty, whereas the first one looks more like a nature landscape. Well thought out and looking fun.

Thank u) I like the second option too . The colors look like knight armor (metal, gold). I want to make reference to the medieval battle.

I made sketches of the final work (there were more of them, but at least something intelligible in this two). I want to show her on horseback. The first version is nice , but too simple composition. In my opinion the second is more interesting.

I do two stages in parallel. Developing a character. Play with the perspective)

Man, I love this rough in from 12/5/18. Totally digging it.

Are you going to mirror the shapes and color language on the horse? Kinda techono armor horse engine kinda thingey?

I think to make a horse mechanical. This is not a robot but the elements of the body are mechanized. The same with the war. :grinning:

The idea is very cool ;3
Good luck!

I realized that I didn't like my past illustration. I started again, considering past mistakes. I hope I can do it !!! :joy: :muscle:

I started with the line, added tone and color. Now I do the detailing. I also realized that I wanted to make the whole horse a robot. I want to add some interesting object to the foreground of the picture, but I have not yet thought of what it could be (bushes, fog or something else)

Both versions are cool, but the new one does feel more striking, good luck with it!
What is her superpower? (I think it had to do something with boosting morale before? Curious how you'll show it :D)

I think about the character in the illustration process. It'll be more understandable in the concept(about to her superpowers). Morrigan is the goddess of war in Irish mythology (I like to be inspired by myths.) The goddess herself did not take part in the battles, but she certainly attended the battlefield and used all her power to help one side or the other.
In the illustration, a girl riding her horse. here she is not at war, she will have the next fight, and she should choose the right side. honestly, I don’t know how to show morale. -_-, maybe if I will have time, I'll think about this moment. :scream:

I'm not sure how to explain properly what I have in my head, but maybe have her surrounded by a group of warrior that look hurt and damaged, as if they were in the middle of a tough fight, but they're all getting up with a determined look, with their weapons ready to attack. I don't know if that makes sense, but that could be a way to do it.

I dig the way you explore color. So much vibrancy
