Another tiny update, gonna call it a night on this one. I did some rendering but I'm generally unhappy with how it looks so I may re-do tomorrow. I also need to start putting things on separate layers, lol
I'm loving the design! Really sweet and baddass at once. I did notice, however, that your pose and composition for the illustration are a little bit similar to your entry for last Art War. I can't help but think maybe trying to push one or both of those aspects just a little bit to fit this new character more could turn something generally appealing into something truly outstanding.
I didn't make the connection until these last two updates, fwiw, so it might be something to do with the direction you're taking when rendering it out.
@bagelhero Yeah, I thought the same thing. I've been considering redoing the illustration, and I think I will definitely throw together some sketches to see what I come up with, maybe something out of my comfort zone thank you for the comments!

I love the colors!! Espacially the purple glow from her hands and skull!
Loving this, its weird in the best way, and the comp should lead to really fun light and shadows.

Awesome job on the colors one thing i could point out is the perspective of the shoulder pad compared to the bodys upward gesture, i think if your were to have some wrapping form under it, it could really sell the power of the pose, other than that cool piece!

Okay, I know I've been MIA for quite some time now. I've been busy with work and other projects, but now I finally have a few days to finish this entry. I just got a new cintiq pen, so I'm ready to get going on this. Here's a sketch I just did for the concept sheet.

@rgdraw thanks:) I like it too, but I decided not to incorporate it. It felt like I was adding it just for the sake of adding it, plus it kind of killed the silhouette.
