Yeah usually it helps to hold on the colors on the early stages, or working on the ambient lighting and colors as a whole instead of getting into too much detail for just one particular element.Keep it up!
Here it's what I believe the final WIP!I'm just going to add more details and work on some rim and bounce light from the spells! Also I'm going to accomodate all the wips and concepts into the final 2048 x 2048 sheet.
