The scene looks very cool but whitening trees with paint is very important for their health) It is protect their crust from insects) so I think, your hero tree would thank people who will protect her) In different countries people are protecting trees in different ways, for the example in Japan you can see trees coated in the fabric for the same reason)

Very nice sketch-setup!
I'd just say make sure it's obvious who's the main hero here, seeing how there's 2-3 figures about the same size/emphasis.
