Also 5 is nice too (for second batch) ^^
Moved to the second one this time I used a different technique, it's more loose, but it's, at least for me, more appropriate for a more intricate design, and it lets me give some bit of shading sooner mantaining easy to add color palettes
@mr_dessin Sorry, I had to reject the camouflage variant With that cloack, in the final illustration, would make me hard time to find a good composition considering I have to explicitly show the superpower..better keep it simple!
Top from left to right1,4,5,6, i like, 6 stood out more, then 5, 1, 4.
I like easy to pic number stuff and things just for future i was like how do i even!
oh sorry! I forgot to add the numbers! anyway thanks! yeah I like the 6 too
2,3,6 and last one ^^But same as @3dc 6 for the win : D
yeah, 6 is definetly the best! thanks
1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 are nice. I would say it will depends on the environment/lighting of your scenery.Cool character design by the way!
Hi guys!I was working on some more thumbnails for the 3rd character, but it didn't convinced me so much so I rejected it, I post it just to show:
So, after moving back to the 2nd and refined a bit, I decided this is going to be my character!
I'll do some other views, then I'll move to the final illustration, oh and also I have to find a name
Hi guys, I added a back view and did some thumbnails for the final illustration:
Any advice for the composition will be really appreciated
Oh, and happy new year!
6 is very cool ^^But all of them look interesting !
Happy new year to you as well !
At the end I choosed the 5 because I wanted the most dynamic one Also I found the name: Exosaur
Also there is something off on the pose, I should work on better, but I still can't figure out exactly what's wrong, any help will be appreciated
Looks like your dude has been pushed and is falling. It's because you have made an inbetween, you depicted a moment just before he lands. If you keep the jumping action, the pose you want is the one on your fourth sketch. Otherwise you can tweek a bit your drawing and make him slide, like a football tackle.
@innocent thanks for the reply I wanted to show how strong was the cannon by making him pushing away in the opposite side of the firing shotI tried to work on the 4 too, but he was looking too much relaxed, like resting on a sofa. Now with fresh mind I think I get where the mistake is, a perspective error on the legs, I'm trying to fix it, also I will try to tweak it as you adviced, thanks again
Here some progress, i fixed a bit of the left leg perspective, considering that's not the focal point It can be good that way, then I did the background, I prefer doing background first so I can setup better the character inside the enviroment.I also made the flat color layers, now I'm moving to the shading part
