As i want the character to be overpowering i'm choosing to have a low point of view.
Also, am choosing to start with the illustration and not the concept sheet to mold my character to the scene not the scene to the character.

Trying to understand the perspective.

Changed the pose to be more engaging with the victim and create consequence and impact of the actions.

under painting and basic atmosphere of the scene.

Wings seemed a tad overplayed so went with lava tentacles, spreads fire better and puts emphasis on the focal point.

Ulnar tunnel the a bit less known brother of carpal tunnel.
