As for the jellyfish being too imposing, isn't that the point of a good villain?! ^^ But I feel like you should decide how important the jellyfish is, compared to the mech/creature(?) below. If the jelly is the real dominant character, maybe make it a bit more intertwined with the one below? And test out how it'll look if you extend the canvas so that it doesn't cut off the jelly's top (or rather bring the jelly a bit lower, so that the canvas doesn't get too long). I feel like it would feel better in the composition. Ok, I'm done rambling

I have changed the jellyfish with 2 open jaws and an eye which hypnotized people.
Slowly changing colours and drawing a little bit of right crowd part (will maybe put some people in the pipe as well)...it will be a long ride to finish this !

Already thinking about small changes (with jellyfish head)...one jaw absorbing thoughts etc and the right one blowing a dark cloud or something.
Not very clear for the moment but the pincers eyes are hypnotizing people too.

Next step...cleaning the crowd (a lot) and add some people on the back (and pipes, far away (if that works well)).

So much things to correct, you can't even imagine xD but yeah almost haha
Doing the lineart for the crowd (3 people on left), darken and lighten some areas, adding some golden water sewer instead of green and some little fx, etc...

For the crouch guy, yes.
But I'm still not sure how to do yet. (mostly with screen in brighter colour or something, the easiest way...maybe an aura around the lineart in the end).

I think keeping the one on the right might work. ( main character is clear and in focus )
Also ... you an add nice red rim lights on the crowd.
But borrow the white emission light from beneath the main character ( the image on the left )

That way .. you get best of both worlds.

Hahaha, I’m sorry buddy. The face of war is an ungodly and ugly one. Thankfully it’s not in the final piece. Was just a backstory image.

This is starting to look real nice, I just composed my final piece too with grey values. Will be working on that.
