So you ended up just using the materials in ZBrush and polypainted your model? No retopo and baking?

This is a very strong entry Skylarc, I love the pose and texturing. I can see this actually being a statue on a desk. Win or lose you should make a 3d print of this!

@lauratm thank you laura ^^ i did a Zbrush sculpt with divisions, then some Uv's and poly paint textures for the body, eyes and stockings. the rest are Materials from keyshot

First let me say awesome work. Lovely colors and design. I just saw your question about the concept sheet. If I could recommend something it would be to either trace over your t-pose to create the line art and render from there. Or even make the line art within zbrush(I forgot how but you can figure that out). After your done with the line art you can render out the AO and flat colors and set those up in photoshop. Just set the layers up in the right spots and there you go. Concept sheet done. Hopefully it can work out like that. Again awesome work and hopefully you can knock this last part out.

@skylarc88 no worries~ Giving compliments where/when compliments are deserved yeah, I'm still working on mine, I just didn't want to flood my thread anymore with minor hi-rez updates haha. Posing is the plan, but I'm behind again so it's gonna be a really intense art weekend to finish ^^;

Hi Malcom thank you for the ideas but i dont think that feels right with me. I dont want to put something up there that i diden't use and was made after i finished up my model. I also dont think a 2D concept is a do or die thing for a 3D artist. plenty of us get along fine without it and personaly I feel way more comfortable concepting in 3D.

Hey @skylarc88 for your concept sheet, you only need to have work you've done. No references or inspiration images on there. Check the rules and stuff again. Other than that solid entry and best of luck to you.

You dont need to tweak anything , its a grat image . I didnt even notice the eyes until you mentioned it. They are the only thing I would change just to give her more of a focused attacking look, but who am I to criiqe. I think its geat work, keep it up, all the best.
