I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to make at first, but since I knew from the start that I wanted to do something related to Fantasy, what better way to come up with a character than to roll one from my D&D Player's Handbook!

A few minutes later, I rolled a Tiefling Warlock. I played around with the idea that he was raised in a time of war, and decided to give him the "virtue" name of Conquest. Not much else has gone deeper into what he'll look like but I'll be sketching out some quick concepts just to spit out some ideas before I can get to sculpting.

also, I am sorry to tell you that... someone asked if he could make a D&D character and that was anwsered with ''no, original art only''

this is what was asked, '' have a a question that I am sure will eventually be asked, so I'll just throw it out there without waiting:
Is "Fanart" permitted?
I get that copyrighted material is probably out of bounds, but is something like a character from a show like CriticalRole on twitch an acceptable choice of subject?'' so , maybe ask marc specifically or a mod, if a D&D char is ok or not.

Hmmm I see what you mean. Though really all I did was randomly flip around my book to come up with an idea for a character to make up for this competition. I'm not gonna make fan art of any existing characters like Drizzt for example. Either way, I'll run it by some people to see if that's ok and make something else if it isn't.

@marc Is this idea alright? Like I said earlier in the topic, this is a completely original character, and I only used my D&D book to randomly pick a race and class and made stuff up from that base idea. If not, I'll make up something else.

maybe PM cubebrush through FB? They do tend to post quite often so you would think that they will see it quite fast.

Well, unfortunately a ton of things came up since I last posted, personal and work related. All of that basically sank any progress on this project, so I'll have to bow out.
