Slowly working out a concept for this...I'm trying to get an idea of what sort of world she'd be living in before I start honing in on armor designs.

Her face is influenced by Alicia Vikander and a few others. I'm so used to doing stylized pieces, so this time I'm really forcing myself to push beyond what I'm comfortable with and strive for realism. Wish me luck:)

Best of luck dude, i know what you mean ive been trying for realism and semi realism for the last few years and still not really close hahaha. I look forward to seeing where you go with her.

Fantastic, very interested in workflow for in the realistic.
Do you gonna use 3D Scans-workflow? Like Dan Roarty likes to do?

I sense some Ex Machina in here. Great stuff, looking forward to it.

I think the biggest differences between the two is the silhouette (treatment of shapes and anatomy), being selective about secondary details and amount of control with color and value. I'm planning on making everything from scratch though! I just feel more comfortable making armor and clothing when I know what's underneath, and I could use the practice :stuck_out_tongue:
