Hi everyone,
I am making a Sci-fi robot Heroine as my character for this competition.
For this character I wanted to create a robot girl inspired by my childhood cartoon favorites i.e Astro-Boy & Mega-man. I also drew upon Phantasy Star for their slick J-RPG robot designs.
I drew some rough concepts in 2D first to get a better idea of what I am working with, and will pick one to create into 3D.
Back Story: Set in an alternate future where giant megalopolises contain most of civilization, robots are used in all manners of daily life. Robots have even developed far enough to be registered as Artificial Intelligent Life. Humans and Robots have in most cases learned to co-exist in most areas of society however, there are still people resistant to acknowledging sentient rights and independence of something mankind has created, for better or for worse.
Our heroine takes place in such a society and whether she fights on the side of order or revolution is up to her volition, because good and evil doesn't exist, just existence itself.
